Details

The Taishan Nuclear Power Plant is located in Chixi Town, Taishan City, Guangdong Province. Two nuclear power units with a single capacity of 1.75 million kilowatts will be constructed in the first phase of the project. The unit is a CEPR (China's EPR) technology brand unit based on EPR (European third-generation pressurized water reactor) technology, jointly designed and built by China and France. CEPR fully absorbs the mature experience of the design, construction, and operation of the French N4 nuclear power plant and the German KONVOI nuclear power plant, and combines the application of domestic standard systems and the good practice of CPR1000 nuclear power project construction to meet the relevant requirements of Chinese laws and regulations. Currently, two units have been put into operation.
